Other Productions

This piece was meant to evoke the growth and decay of nature as a result of man's interference through deforestation. The beginning of the choreography felt light and flowing, like running through a forest but towards the end turns more rigid and broken to reflect the breaking of our own environment. I wanted the lighting for this work to appear like trees in a forest, and as the dance progresses and the forest starts to die the lighting gradually changes to dark until one final beam of light goes black leaving the dancers in the darkness of destruction.
